The Challenge
Hinge Health needed a scalable way to produce high quality testimonial content for enterprise clients across the United States. Their model requires ongoing proof -- real people from real organizations speaking to the value of their platform. The content is used internally within enterprise client organizations to drive adoption and employee sign-ups.
Traditional production was not built for this. Scheduling a crew, coordinating travel, booking studio time, and managing post-production for a single testimonial could run $6,000 to $10,000 and take weeks to deliver. At the volume Hinge Health needed that model was neither practical nor sustainable.
What This Replaced
Traditional production crew runs $6,000 to $10,000 per testimonial. Urban Umbrella remote production costs up to 75% less. At 200 testimonials that cost difference is not incremental. It is transformational for a content program operating at this scale.
And unlike a traditional shoot that requires weeks of scheduling, travel coordination, and post-production cycles, Urban Umbrella delivers footage in one to two days from a single production call.
Six continuous years. If it did not work they would have stopped.
The most compelling proof that this model works is not a metric. It is the relationship. Urban Umbrella has been Hinge Health's remote production partner for six years and counting.

The Solution
Urban Umbrella developed a remote production model that eliminates the crew without sacrificing consistency.
A production kit ships overnight to the interview subject. A pre-production call of 15 to 30 minutes orients them to the process and sets expectations. One to two days later, the production call takes place -- typically one to one and a half hours. Michael Franz conducts the interview remotely, directing and capturing the testimonial in real time from Portland, Oregon.
Total time investment for the subject is under two hours. Footage is uploaded the same day. Turnaround from production call to delivered footage is one to two days.
The result is consistent, authentic, purpose-built testimonial content that performs exactly where it needs to -- in enterprise sales and adoption conversations.
